# Poynt

**STEP 1**

Navigate to **Gateways → Gateway Integration**, then locate the **Poynt** tile. Click on the tile and press the **Activate** button.

**STEP 2**

Add a title and create the gateway. **businessId** and **storeId** will be handled in the next steps. Create the gateway.

**STEP 3**

Find the new gateway in the Gateway List. **Edit** that gateway. Press the **Link** **Account** button.

**STEP 4**

Follow the instructions to register your Poynt account on CheckoutChamp. At the end of the registration process, **businessId** will be assigned to the gateway.

**STEP 5**

If you were not automatically redirected to edit the gateway, navigate to **Gateways → Gateway List** and locate that gateway.

Press the **Get Poynt Stores** button. You will see a list of your stores.

Copy the storeId of the desired store into your clipboard and paste it into the **storeId** input. **Update** your gateway.
