# Add Tax Code to Products
**Note: This is the Tax Code provided to you by TaxJar.**
**To add tax code to a product do the following:**
Click [here](https://developers.taxjar.com/api/reference/#categories) to view TaxJar's tax codes
Click on **CRM > Products>** Click on the *blue* **“Edit Icon”** located next to the product you want to add the Tax Code to.
This will take you to the **“Edit Product”** page. This is where you will add the **Tax Code** you received from TaxJar in the “Tax Code” field and *click* on the blue **“Update Product”** Button to save.
* TaxJar Tax Codes determines the taxes on the Products and services you sell.
