# Use link or button to initiate a pop-up

This article will show you how to set a button or link to initiate a pop-up. This is useful for showing information like your Refund Policy because doing so will keep the customer on your page without going to a new tab.

\
First, you will need to drag a Pop-up page type to the [Funnel Visualizer](/funnel-builder/creating-and-editing-funnels-pages/funnel-visualizer-and-page-builder/funnel-visualizer.md).

Next, click the settings button on the Pop-up page to choose the blank template.

After choosing the blank template the page will refresh back to the funnel visualizer. You can click the Settings button again to rename the Pop-up page.

To edit the pop-up content, click on the pencil button on the Pop-up page.

After making your pop-up page edits, be sure to save the page using the floppy disk icon in the [Builder Toolbar](/funnel-builder/creating-and-editing-funnels-pages/funnel-visualizer-and-page-builder/page-builder-2.0/builder-toolbar.md).\
\
When your pop-up page is complete, navigate back to the Funnel Visualizer and edit the page that will launch the pop-up. If there is not already a [Link](/funnel-builder/creating-and-editing-funnels-pages/funnel-visualizer-and-page-builder/page-builder-2.0/building-blocks/basic-blocks.md) added to the page, do this now.\
\
Locate the link on the page. Click on it and open the Settings within the [Style Manager](/funnel-builder/creating-and-editing-funnels-pages/funnel-visualizer-and-page-builder/page-builder-2.0/settings-and-style-manager.md). Give the link a **Title** so it’s easier to identify in the next step and set the **Action** to Default.

Save the page when complete and go back to the Funnel Visualizer.

For the last step, drag an arrow from the page the pop-up displays on and drag it to the pop-up page. Open the arrow's settings and set only the appropriate link to be the link that opens the pop-up.

When complete, Publish the funnel and check your work on the live site by clicking on the link you set the pop-up page to trigger on.
