# Layer Manager

The Checkout Champ Layer Manager allows you to manage your page structure to nest components and manage page elements quickly and easily. To find a specific element in the layer manager, open the layer manager with the hamburger icon on the far right of the tool bar. Once the layers are displayed, go ahead and click on the element you would like to find. Once you do so the element will be displayed inside the layer manager.

As your page grows, you can reposition elements by dragging the element up or down in the layer manager, view and hide elements (eye icon), lock elements to prevent editing (lock icon), and reveal nested layers (arrow icon) to manage nested elements.

{% hint style="info" %}
Hiding an element from the desktop view will hide the element across all device views. However, you can hide an element on the tablet and/or mobile view and it will remain on the desktop view.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://help.checkoutchamp.com/funnel-builder/creating-and-editing-funnels-pages/funnel-visualizer-and-page-builder/page-builder/layer-manager.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
