InsureShip Add On

We offer the option to add insurance to your checkout cart, providing additional protection and peace of mind to your customers while simultaneously increasing your profitability during checkout

Setup

Edit any funnel

Go to Settings > Add Ons > InsureShip

Enable the Add On

Opt In - by default the shipping insurance widget is enabled (opt-out). Choose this option make the widget disabled by default and require an opt-in from the customer.

Insure Rebills - automatically add InsureShip to each scheduled rebill. There is no option to manually add InsureShip to rebills. It must be automatic.

Widget Placement

  • Above checkout button - place the widget above the first checkout button found on the page

  • Below shopping cart total - place the widget just below the grandTotal element in the shopping cart

  • Custom - review the instructions on the page. This requires coding an element and custom class onto the checkout page. It provides ultimate flexibility.

Rate Per Transaction - the rate paid on your CheckoutChamp monthly subscription per shipment. You will be charge only for orders shipped. Orders cancelled prior to shipment are not billable.

Additional Setup

Enabling InsureShip automatically creates a campaign product. Go to Settings > Offers to manage the product. The default price to your customers is 3.00 (in the campaign currency). Adjust product name, price, and other details as needed.

Checkout Pages

The InsureShip widget is automatically placed on checkout pages according to the Widget Placement setting. The widget displays only when there are shippable products in the cart. The price is dynamic from the InsureShip campaign product. There are no edits needed on the page, unless using the Custom option for Widget Placement.
