CheckoutChamp Travel Kit Configuration Guide
This guide describes how to set up your campaign to fall under the Travel Kit model.
You will need to set up two campaign products, one for the straight sale of the travel kit, and another to handle the subscription.
The first product will be sold at $4.95 and is set to isShippable.
The second product will be set up as a recurring purchase.
Cycle 1: 0.00 price, 0.00 shipping, no shipping, bill delay 14 days
Cycle 2: 89.99 price, 0.00 shipping, isShippable, bill delay 16 days
Cycle 3: 89.99 price, 4.95 shipping, isShippable, bill delay 30 days
Trial enabled: You need to select “Hold Trial Charge” this will Auth the full amount and capture on first rebill. So, you do not collect anything at the time of purchase for this product, instead, on day 14 you capture that authorization.
The customer needs to purchase both products for this to work, so there will be some back-end validation needed on each merchant’s lander to allow this. Once the straight sale product is purchased it will immediately process the 4.95 and authorize the 89.95. On the next bill date the 89.95 will be captured.
