Redirecting your Root (Apex) Domain
Due to a limitation of the DNS specification, there is technically no way to attach a CNAME directly to your Root (also called Apex) domain. In response to this limitation, most DNS providers have created their own solutions.
In general, the idea is that someone could type in myexample.com in their search bar and be redirected to www.myexample.com where you have linked a CNAME record and published content. For example, a page you have built in CheckoutChamp.
Each provider handles this a little differently. Example names for this functionality include: CNAME Flattening, Domain Forwarding, and Alias Record. Below are links to most of the major providers with instructions on how to achieve this for your domain.
