Route Add On

To enable the Route Plugin:

In CRM, go to Admin | Plugins | Shipping Services | Available Plugins: "Route" and click the Green Activate Button:

Please specify the following for the fields above:

Name: Route Login

Password: Route Password

Phone: Your Company’s Phone Number

Primary Email: Your Company’s Email

Store Name: Your Company’s Name

Store Domain: Your Company’s default domain

Store Country: Your Company’s Primary Country

Insure Rebills: If Insure rebills is enabled, then continuity purchases will be insured by Route. You can disable this on the purchase (described below).

MerchantID: Leave Blank

Once you have connected, be sure to complete your Route Configuration by following this link: Complete Route Onboarding

Add Route to a Campaign

Go to CRM | Campaigns | select a campaign to edit

Under Shipping Options, select the checkbox next to "Offer Route"

Under Billing Options, set the Merchant Account (MID) on which shipping insurance will be charged.

Checkout Champ

Step 1: Go to Funnel Add Ons in funnel settings. Enable the Route checkbox and select merchant account for Route to bill against. Press Save & Continue.

Step 2: Edit the checkout page. Add a form checkbox to the page at the location you want the Route element to appear. Set checkbox name = insureShipment. Save the page.

Step 3: Publish the funnel

Step 4: Go to the live checkout page. Verify the checkbox is replaced by the Route option. Setup is complete. When consumers choose Route, the insurance amount is added to the order.

Order Details

Route shows as "Shipment insured for " + insurance price on the Order Details page.

Shipping insurance is automatically charged as a separate transaction when fulfillment has shipped.

There is a Bill Ship Insurance button on the Order Details page. If you try to bill the shipping insurance before fulfillment has shipped you will get the error "Cannot bill insurance on order before it ships".

If you are insuring rebills, then you will see the Insure Shipments? checkbox checked on the purchase details page.

If you are sending Auto Responders, you can add the [shipmentInsurancePrice] token to your messages so that the shipping insurance price is included in the notification.
