Schedule Sales DemoOffers and Upsells are normally separate transactions. There is however an option to combine them into a single transaction.
Navigate to CRM -> Campaigns -> Choose a Campaign to Edit -> General Details
Enable Single Transaction and click "Save"
With Single Transaction enabled, your customers will not see numerous transactions on their bank statement. Instead, they will see a single transaction for the total amount of the order.
If your gateway supports a zero authorization then that authorization takes place on the credit card. If your gateway does not support zero authorization then the full amount of the sale is authorized.
The initial order is placed in a Pending status
As each upsell arrives, the upsell item is added to the existing order. The upsell is not sent to the gateway at this time.
When the campaign upsell window has elapsed since the order was created, the transaction is finalized.
If no upsells were added then the total amount on the checkout page is captured
If upsells were added the entire amount (all offers and upsells) is sent to the gateway as a new sale. The initial order status is updated with the result of this sale. If not using a zero authorization then the previously authorized amount is voided.
You can rerun the declines using the Order Details Report if needed. A standard rerun includes all products. There is an option to exclude the upsells for the rerun.
Do NOT manually capture the transaction at the gateway. Let the process complete as documented here.
Affiliate pixels are fired when the transaction is finalized
This feature is supported on a limited number of gateways. Other gateways will be evaluated upon request.

The Single Transaction is exactly that. It does not support multiple transactions on the initial checkout. If you allow checkout with multiple products then care must be taken to ensure all those products are assigned the same gateway. Do not enable Standalone Transactions on any products.
It is required that all products submitted are purchased on that single transaction. The offer gateway will override any gateways set on the upsell products. Overriding this rule is not possible.
The single transaction can be in conflict with trial options. If there is one product on the order and that product is a trial, then the single transaction is ignored and the trial is run. If there are multiple products on the order, then the single transaction is preserved and the trial options are ignored (any trial products are not run with auth/hold, auth/void, or validate card options).
This feature is available only for certain platform billing models. If you are interested in this feature but do not have it available to you, please reach out to your Account Manager.
