Button & Link Actions

There are various actions available on buttons. Most of these actions are also available on links.

Add To Cart

This action will add a product to the customer’s shopping cart, without navigating the customer to another page of the funnel. This is mainly used for storefront websites that contain a catalog of products and a dedicated cart page.

Submit + Route

Submit page data to the CRM and route the customer to the next page of the funnel. This action can be used to submit lead information, billing/shipping information, product information, and card information. Submit + Route should be used on Lead Pages where a form exists, and any Checkout Page or Upsell Page buttons that should allow the customer to buy the product(s).

Route to Next Page

Route the customer to another page in the funnel. Any inputs on the page will be saved to the user session. Any products chosen on the page will be saved in the shopping cart. This action is most commonly used on a landing page that contains a product selection without a form for the customer to enter their information.

Open Section

Open another element on the page. Specify the ID of that element in the Open Id entry. Rows, columns, and boxes can be opened using this action. When the button is pressed and the section opened, any other buttons on the page that open a section will have their sections closed. The sections to open are available in the page builder for you to design, but those sections will be hidden when the published page loads.

Open Section + Hide

Open another element on the page AND hide this button. Specify the ID of the element in the Open Id entry. Rows, columns, and boxes can be opened using this action. When the button is pressed and the section opened, the button is hidden. The button will not be shown again on the page, unless the page is refreshed. No other sections are affected by this action. The sections to open are available in the page builder for your design, but will be hidden when the published page loads.

Submit Lead + Open Section

This action facilitates lead submission on a checkout page. Submit entered inputs for processing, remain on the page, open another element on the page, and hide this button. Specify the element to open in the Open Id entry.

Open Popup

Open the page popup. This is another type of trigger for the popup (on the popup itself you can choose to trigger on load or on scroll, with a time delay). See this article for more information.

Apply Coupon

If there is a coupon field on the page, this action will apply the entered coupon code to the order.

Allow the customer to log into their account so they can purchase with their card on file.

Default

This option applies no action to the button. This is useful if you are using the button or link to trigger some sort of custom script.

PayPal, Affirm, AfterPay, Klarna, Sezzle, iDEAL, Bancontact, GiroPay, Apple Pay, Amazon Pay and Google Pay buttons should always be set to Submit + Route
