Schedule Sales Demo3RI requires PAAY authentication on the initial transaction.
The PAAY 3RI plugin is used to easily authenticate and protect rebill transactions with external 3DS values. Add the PAAY 3RI plugin today to reduce chargebacks and start saving money!
PAAY 3RI is a separate plugin from PAAY. It is not required to have a PAAY plugin to use PAAY 3RI.
PAAY 3RI is currently not available for Visa transactions. All Visa transactions will be skipped.
Rebills can be authenticated for 3D Secure protection. Authentication must take place prior to each scheduled billing. Authentication one month must be repeated the next month for the next billing.
2 days before a scheduled rebill, the card is authenticated with PAAY. If a consumer has multiple rebills on the same card then the card must be authenticated multiple times. 3RI parameters are single-use.
If authentication is successful then the rebill is 3DS protected. If authentication fails then the rebill will proceed without protection.
3RI will attempt on all rebills that were authenticated by PAAY on the original sale. Any rebill without PAAY authentication on the original sale will process the rebill without 3RI. This does not require that the original authentication was performed with the PAAY plugin. If your checkout page authenticates with another PAAY reseller then that is sufficient to use 3RI.
Subscriptions must be on the same card as the original sale. Any rebill on a different card will process the rebill without 3RI (this includes updates from the Account Updater plugin).
The original sales URL is required. Any original order processed without the salesUrl parameter will rebill without 3RI (authentication will not be sent to PAAY).
3RI is available only for credit card rebills.
3RI parameters are reusable until a successful rebill occurs. If a rebill declines and is re-attempted through Recycle Billing then the same 3RI parameters are sent with each attempt.
The PAAY 3RI service is billed monthly at the time of your CRM subscription billing based on your plugin transaction rate (RatePerTransaction) per 3DS RI authentication attempt. All attempts are billable, even if authentication fails. If using the PAAY plugin then the billing for PAAY and PAAY 3RI are separate.
The current upcoming amount can be found in the Add-ons section on your Subscription page.
