Route

To enable the Route Plugin:

Go to Admin | Plugins | Shipping Services | Available Plugins: "Route" and click the Green Activate Button:

Please specify the following for the fields above:

Name: Route Login

Password: Route Password

Phone: Your Company’s Phone Number

Primary Email: Your Company’s Email

Store Name: Your Company’s Name

Store Domain: Your Company’s default domain

Store Country: Your Company’s Primary Country

Insure Rebills: If Insure rebills is enabled, then continuity purchases will be insured by Route. You can disable this on the purchase (described below).

MerchantID: Leave Blank

Once you have connected, be sure to complete your Route Configuration by following this link: Complete Route Onboarding

Add Route to Campaign

Enable on campaign level under shipping section. Select the Checkbox next to "Offer Route"

On the campaign edit page, set the MID that shipping insurance will be charged on under Billing Options. Labeled as Route Mid

When Route has been added to Lander Campaigns you will need to configure your Checkout Page, download and add to your campaign’s checkout page:

On your Campaign, select edit Landing Page:

Enable RouteV2

You will see a preview of your checkout page which now includes the Route Shipping Insurance toggle.

Select Update and then Download Code:

The checkout.php file will now include the Route specific Form code:

The insurance price will be calculated based on the price of the products in the shopping cart.

Order Entry

You will now see a check box next to an “Insure my shipment for (the price configured for Route Insurance) on the Order Entry screen. Insurance is calculated based on the price of the products in the shopping cart.

Shows as "Shipment insured for " + insurance price on order details page.

There is a Bill Ship Insurance button on the order details page, however, if you try to bill the shipping insurance before fulfillment has shipped you will get the error "Cannot bill insurance on order before it ships".

*Note: Shipping insurance is charged as a separate transaction after fulfillment has shipped.

If you are insuring rebills, then you will see the Insure Shipments? checkbox checked on the purchase details page.

If you are sending Auto Responders, you can add the [shipmentInsurancePrice] token to your messages so that the shipping insurance price is included in the notification.
